The 128th Sykehouse Show will be held on Sunday 4th August 2013 with all the attractions we booked last year being invited to attend again. Tenders are invited for catering provision for one catering unit, plus a bar unit. 70 application forms for Trade Stand Sites or Craft Stall tables will be available in March. The 2013 Schedule of Classes will be available to download in April. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Show.

Our aim is to promote and advance agriculture, horticulture, livestock breeding and Arts & Crafts. Our show is held on the first Sunday in August every year and opens from around 9am until 6pm.

Please feel free to use this web-site to access information on the Show and to contact our Honorary Secretary who will be more than happy to answer any queries you might have.

We shall have a carriage driving display at around lunch time in the Jumping Ring, and apart from the Jacob Sheep, the Alpacas and Rare Breed Animals, we shall also have a small display of pigs for the first time in forty years.

In the Entertainment ring starting just after 11am and continuing through the day we shall have displays from Ferret World, where the children race against the ferrets, the Park Rose Birds of Prey Flying Display, Bill Heslop’s lovely Sheepdog ‘n’ ducks ‘n’ sheep exhibition, showing their skills, followed by the Children’s Fancy Dress Class. Look out for the CLOWN and the PUNCH and JUDY Shows, as well as the Working Blacksmith display.

You will see from the Schedule that there will be plenty of animals of various types and sizes being judged throughout the day.

With Admission charges of only £5 Adults, £3 Children and £5 for cars parked on the Showfield – there is a free car parking field adjacent, we think we are the best value day out in Yorkshire – come along and see if we are right.
